He was an Adjunct Professor at NYU, developing and teaching courses on child and human rights.
His work as a children and young person’s campaigner has included senior roles with, Plan International, Save the Children, ChildFund Alliance, UNICEF, UNCHR and the Australia Council of Social Service (ACOSS).
